  1. Rows represent the five fluency levels, from Awareness to Agent-First
  2. Columns represent the five assessment dimensions
  3. Each cell describes the typical characteristics at that level for that dimension

Using the Matrix for Assessment

  1. For each dimension (column), identify which level best describes your team's current state
  2. Note that different dimensions may be at different levels—this is normal
  3. Use the matrix to identify gaps and prioritize improvement areas
  4. Focus on dimensions that have the greatest impact on your business value
